Ted

Ted is the main character in the sitcom How I Met Your Mother(HIMYM). HIMYM is all about Ted's journey to find his soul mate in a story that takes place in 9 years. He goes through a ton of rough times throughout the TV show.

Barney

Barney is the funniest character in the sitcom in my opinion and he also has great meaningful scenes sometimes. he loves suits and once had a dog as his wing-man during a hard time.

Robin

Robin is a gun-nut girl from Canada that Barney marries at first but then they get divorced and then Ted marries her.

Marshall

Marshall is Ted's best friend and Lily's husband. He is from Minnesota and hates the Vikings. His dad died during the show and his mom and Lily don't like each other.

Lily

Lily is a kindergarten teacher and also one of Ted's best friends. She became an art consultant later for a man named the Captain. She always has good advice for the characters and give "life lectures".
