I made my first webpage that made it on the internet today! "yay cool."
I tweaked it a bit while playing around. n_n
How long have you been using a computer/the Internet? What kind of computer do you have at home? What do you usually spend most of your computer time at home doing? What do you hope/expect to take out of this class?
I've been using the internet/computer for about 8 years so far. The first computer I used was an old packard bell that could only play Chinese chess. Then I moved up to a mac that could play more computer games and connect to the internet. Unfortunately I didn't use email much and I couldn't explore the internet due to parental controls (rediculously strict!). Now I have a PC thats about 5 years old that I use to watch movies, download music, chat with friends, read comics, and play video games. I also photoshop pictures and animate icons in my spare time using Adobe. I aim to be able to make a website for my mom by the end of this class. She needs one to display her artwork.
