What do you think of the Digital Divide? How much of a problem might the Divide be? How, if at all, does the Digital Divide affect you?
To me, there isn't really much to think about concerning the digital divide besides acknowledging that such a thing exists. It creates an enormous problem when trying to enhance the economies of countries on the other side of the divide, but that doesn't directly affect me in any way.
How has the Internet enhanced your learning experience?
The internet has definitley made research fo papers a lot simpler for me by using search engines to find the information I need without wasting time to travel to different information sources. Through the internet almost any kind of information I need is available at my desk. Also, sometimes I simply wander around on the internet and learn all sorts of things. Internet articles are simply easier to gain access to and take less effort to obtain than physical books and articles sometimes.
How does the Internet penetration of your region compare to others? Why might that be the case?
Since we live in America, the technology here is pretty good at keeping up with the advancing market. Also, since we live in/close to the Silicon Valley, a lot of technology here is pretty state-of-the-art. The area in California in which we live is very prominent in the technological industry, and as a result, the internet, and other high-tech devices are quite common around here.
