Characters
These are a few of the major characters in A:TLA. There might be a few spoilers in this, but kind of not really because, I don't know. If you've never watched this, it may spoil some parts of the show, but let's be real, who hasn't watched A:TLA? It's the best show in existence. Read at your own discretion.
Team Avatar is back!

Aang
Aang is the avatar, so he is striving to be master all four elements in order to defeat Fire Lord Ozai. He grew up at the Southern Air Temple to be trained, where he met Monk Gyatso, the closest thing he had to a father, and ran away when he was forced to be seperated from him. He looks twelve, but he's actually 112, because he was trapped in an iceberg for 100 years. He is very immature until the end.

Katara
Katara, along with her brother, Sokka, is the one who first finds Aang trapped in the iceberg. She goes along with him to the Northern Water Tribe to become a waterbending master, but falls in love with him along the way. That's only a subplot though, so it's not that important. It's important for LoK, but whatever. She's like a mom because she's so protective and stuff.

Sokka
Sokka goes with Aang to accompany her sister, who is her last immediate family member that he can be with. His father went off to war and his mother died. His choice of weapon is a boomerang that he loves ever so dearly. He is a funny fellow, a very funny fellow, if not a tad sexist. That goes away though. His first girlfriend turned into the moon.

Toph
Toph is a BAMF. She's the best character in the show, hands down. At day, she is like a blind, helpless little girl whom her family shelters from the outside world, but at night, she is the Blind Bandit and can beat everyone's butts in earthbending tournaments. She can sense where things are by stomping her feet on the ground, creating waves that echo back when they reach an obstruction. This is "seismic sense." She also invented metal-bending. She is also mine, so stay away please.

Zuko
Zuko is pretttttttty amazing. His voice actor has a very nice voice. He was banished from the fire nation after losing an Agni Kai to his father, and he lost his honor. Although at first he chases Aang and friends to capture and/or kill them to regain his honor, he eventually becomes part of Team Avatar, or Boomeraang, or whatever you wish to call it. He really wants his honor back. All he cares about is honor.

Suki
Suki is one of the Kyoshi Warriors, but she decides to go to Sokka because she loves him. I like Sokka/Toph better than Suki/Sokka because SokkaToph can be SophTokko if I wanted them to be. She is not an earthbender, but she can fight very well with a fan or other assorted objects.

Iroh
Iroh is a retired general of the fire nation; he is Zuko's uncle. He has always been right, but Zuko has never listened to his thoughful advice, so he always failed in his missions. He is a a Grand Master of the Order of the White Lotus, a secret society, so he enjoys playing Pai Sho, a board game. He is a master of firebending, and he really likes tea. I like him.

Azula
Azula is Zuko's sister who is perfect in every way. She can lightning bend, she has her honor, she has the ruthlessness to become a fire lord, she's a master firebender, she has her honor, she has friends, she has her honor, and she has her honor. She's insane though, and very insecure when it comes to her mother.

Appa and Momo
Appa and Momo are air nomad animal things. Appa is a flying bison, and Momo is a flying lemur. They form a friendship after meeting with Aang, and when they are gone from one another, they are very sad. Actually, if they're gone from anyone from Team Avatar, they'll be sad, but whatever. They make me happy.

Cabbage Merchant
The cabbage merchant is a determined fellow, who lives to sell cabbages. Despite his so reocurring unfortune of his cabbage cart being broken whenever he's near Team Avatar, the cabbage merchant still pursues his dream to sell his cabbages. Although it is never known whether or not he ever sells cabbages, he deserves a statue erected in his honor for his efforts. He gets one in Legend of Korra.
