Spitsbergen is like the Arctic, in Norway of course. This isolated place is a perfect vacation for many. For those who want a vacation filled with no disturbances, this is the perfect place. With less human residents than polar bears, this spot is a much needed peace and quiet. The clean, white sonw is blinding as sunlight reflects off of it. When you step outside, you can imagine that you are the only one in this world. There is no dirty snow, because there is no else near you to make it dirty. There may not be lots of humans, but there is plenty of wildlife. There are polar bears, walruses, seals, seabirds, whales, and more. Nature also shows itself in the form of auroras or the northern lights. This isolated place of nature shows nature at its purest.
At Spitsbergen, you choose what you want to do. There are many things that you will see in daily life there. You can possibly go looking for some of the animals. You can go whale watching, bird-watching, or just hike around, and hope to see something, since you probably will. Just make sure to keep a map and know where you're going. You could also stay hoe and relax, but come out at night, to see the northern lights. There are events where you can meet other people at a campfire and watch the northern lights together. With the right permits, you can also go fishing. Some of the locals will probabaly be willing to show you how if you don't know how.
