Chapter 5: Baby Universe

Baby Universe is about Kengo and Saki, who went to the same schools in Nishimachi. When they were young, the two and other children, went to the roof of their apartment building and saw a UFO of some sort. As teenagers now, Kengo wonders if Saki remembers that night. After Saki's mother ran off with another man, rumors began to spread about Saki and her "boyfriend," a man who looks like a businessman, has a wife, and is one of her father's friends. One day, as Kengo is working at his part-time job at a restaurant, Saki comes in and then begins to come in daily. One night, Kengo and Saki go out to play ping-pong and he finds out that Saki really does remember that night. However, the next day, Saki comes into the restaurant with her "father's friend" and Kengo confronts her. Saki pushes him away, saying that she's an adult now. Later that night, both Kengo and Saki see a twinkling light in the sky. Kengo rushes over to the restaurant where Saki and her father's friend are dining and pulls her up to the roof to see the UFO. He then confesses his love for her.
